Some vehicles could disappear from company car choice lists as new emissions test results put them beyond CO2 thresholds used by fleets.

Recent data published shows some vehicles that were below 130g/km or 110g/km using the NEDC-correlated figures now fall outside those key benchmarks, due to new WLTP testing.

The new Co2 values, derived from WLT, will be used for tax purposes for all new cars registered from April.

This change is likely to mean some familiar models on company car choice lists have to be replaced by more tax efficient, hybrid or fully electric versions.
