Record levels of demand are showing for EV company car leasing, largely as a result of favourable tax rates.
Company car drivers with pure electric vehicles will pay no tax this tax year, while drivers of plug-in hybrid vehicles benefit from favourable rates.
30% of fleets are already using EVs, while 46% have active plans to make the transition in the future, with half of all fleets who have not made the switch having plans to within the next five years.
The share of plug-in hybrid and pure electric vehicles has more than doubled, with diesels showing a marked decline with only 44% of diesel drivers choosing to replace their car with another diesel.
