According to a survey nearly 60% of drivers would consider owning an electric (EV) or hybrid vehicle instead of a petrol or diesel to cut down on their carbon emissions.

The cost associated with an EV or hybrid vehicle alongside the lack of charging points and the time it takes to charge the vehicles was a concern for those considering an EV or hybrid model.

The adoption of EVs and hybrids is a topic amongst fleet decision makers, but it is also proving to be an increasingly important consideration for company car drivers.

According to the survey helping the planet was one of the most common reasons for fleet drivers wanting to switch to low and zero emissions cars.
