Over 165,000 new company cars were registered with fleets and business last month, according to new figures published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

Although latest sales data suggests that fleet and business registrations were down 8% from September 2019, the sector is still showing growth from the beginning of 2020 as it continues to recover.

The relaxation of Covid lockdown restrictions from June saw consumers return to showrooms and factories restart their production lines. However, the market still faces continued pressure with several challenges such as social distancing concerns continuing to affect them.
